Topic #181: How do you know where your boundaries are?

We all have limits for what we are willing to try, or do, but how do you know that you haven’t gone far enough? Or when you go too far?

Knowing where one’s boundaries are is what separates the good from the bad. You will know when you reach that boundary because it will be that weird feeling everyone associates with making them give pause. It will make you stop and think, “Is this worthwhile?”.

When you get butterflies in your stomach or a sudden feeling of impending doom, that;s you reaching a boundary. It feels different in each of us and we all have learned what it signifies. When you reach that point you will just KNOW almost immediately that a line in the sand is dead ahead.

Boundaries are the laws that govern an individual. It’s the values we have learned from our parents and by society.
